Tag 1 - Jaipur - Pushkar - Abgabe in Jodhpur

Beginnen Sie den Tag mit einer Abholung an Ihrem bevorzugten Ort in Jaipur. Fahren Sie in Richtung Pushkar, einer Stadt bekannt fuer ihre spirituelle Bedeutung, die ueber 400 Tempel zaehlt, wobei der Brahma-Tempel der beruehmteste ist. Brahma fuehrte hier ein Yagya (rituelle Feuerzeremonie) durch und liess eine Lotusblume aus seinen Haenden fallen, wodurch der heilige Pushkar-See entstand, in dem Pilger baden, bevor sie Gebete anbieten. Der Tempel ist am Eingang mit einer silbernen Schildkroete verziert, die Brahmas Transportmittel symbolisiert.

Schlendern Sie durch die zahlreichen Tempel, die die Ufer des Sees umgeben und eine faszinierende Skyline schaffen, besonders wenn die abendlichen Vesperglocken ertoenen. Pushkar zieht ganzjaehrig Besucher an, ist aber besonders lebendig waehrend seiner jaehrlichen Kamelmesse im November, wenn die Stadt in ein Kaleidoskop aus Farben, Klaengen und Festlichkeiten ausbricht.

Tourguide in Pushkar was very knowledgable and explained about Hindusim and why the Brahma Temple is so important. The drive from Jaipur to Jodhpur was rather long and the stay in Pushkar rather short but I am sure you can negotiate this with the tour operator that were interested in feedback and improving

Het was een goede manier om van Jaipur naar Jodhpur te reizen. De tijd in Pushkar was slechts 30 minuten maar voor ons lang genoeg.

The driver was very good but the long drive was silent because the driver didn't speak Engish. The guide was a total waste of money.
