Zwei Tage, was Jaipur tatsächlich verdient
Jeder macht Jaipur an einem Tag. Zwei Tage bedeuten, dass die Altstadt einen eigenen Morgen bekommt und die Hügelforts einen weiteren, und keiner ist ein Gewaltmarsch.
Tag 1: die ummauerte Stadt
Abholung von Ihrem Hotel, dem Flughafen Jaipur oder dem Bahnhof.
Hawa Mahal zuerst, für das Morgenlicht auf der Fassade. 1799 als Erweiterung des Zenana des City Palace erbaut: 953 Fenster über fünf Stockwerke, und für den größten Teil der Höhe weniger als einen Meter tief, ein Sichtschutz, damit die Frauen des Hofes Straßenprozessionen unbeobachtet ansehen konnten, mit einem Gitterwerk, das den Luftstrom beschleunigt und die Gänge dahinter kühlt.
City Palace, ein Teil davon ist noch immer das Zuhause der königlichen Familie, mit der Waffenkammer, den Textilgalerien und den beiden Silberurnen im Diwan-i-Khas, den größten Silberobjekten der Welt, gegossen, damit ein Maharadscha Ganges-Wasser nach England bringen konnte.
Jantar Mantar direkt nebenan: neunzehn gemauerte astronomische Instrumente aus den 1730er Jahren, UNESCO-gelistet, mit einer 27 Meter hohen Sonnenuhr, die noch auf etwa zwei Sekunden genau ist.
Dann die Bazare, Johari für Edelsteine und Kundan-Arbeiten, Tripolia für Lack-Armreifen, die vor Ihnen über einer Flamme gefertigt werden, Bapu Bazaar für Blockdruck und Mojari-Schuhe.
Tag 2: die Hügel
Amber Fort früh, vor den Reisebussen: das Ganesh Pol-Tor, der Sheesh Mahal, und der wassergekühlte Sukh Niwas.
Panna Meena ka Kund, der Stufenbrunnen aus dem 16. Jahrhundert darunter, sich kreuzende Treppen, die acht Stockwerke hinabführen und fast immer leer sind.
Jaigarh darüber, mit der Jaivana, der größten je gegossenen Räderkanone, genau einmal abgefeuert.
Und Nahargarh bei Sonnenuntergang, mit dem ganzen Raster der ummauerten Stadt darunter.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Amazing Experience with Akram! I had an absolutely wonderful experience in Jaipur, and a huge part of that was thanks to my guide, Akram. He is extremely knowledgeable about Jaipur’s history and its most beautiful spots. He explained everything in great detail and made the experience really interesting and enjoyable. What I didn’t expect at all was that Akram is also an amazing photographer! He took some of the best photos of me during my trip, which was such a lovely surprise. Beyond the tour itself, I really enjoyed spending time with him. He was so friendly, helpful, and easygoing that it honestly felt like I was spending the day with someone I had known for a long time. He helped me with everything, even when I wanted to buy a kurta in the bazaars. The driver was also super friendly, very patient, and drove safely throughout the day. My 2 day tour around Jaipur was delightful. My Guide K K was friendly with a good knowledge of English. The tour itself was very varied with a good selection of attractions visited. My driver Suresh made it easy with a comfortable car as conditions were very hot. Thanks again, recommended
Our guide KK and driver Suresh were amazing! KK was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of each location we went to, and showed us things we definitely wouldn’t have noticed on our own. They were also very accommodating in terms of stopping for lunch when/where we wanted to. Overall I’d highly recommend this tour and working with KK and Suresh.
We had a great 2 days with K.K and Suresh seeing the sights of Jaipur. K.K had great knowledge and took some fantastic photos. Super accommodating and flexible when I was ill on the first day. Would definitely recommend.
