Der City Palace nimmt ein Siebtel der Mauerstadt ein, und die königliche Familie bewohnt noch einen Teil davon, weshalb die privaten Gemächer im Chandra Mahal geschlossen sind und der Rest nicht. Was Sie sehen, ist das Mubarak Mahal mit seiner Textil- und Kostümsammlung, das Diwan-i-Khas mit zwei Urnen aus Sterlingsilber, den größten Einzelstücken aus Silber der Welt, gemacht, damit ein Maharadscha 1901 Gangeswasser nach England mitnehmen konnte, und der Pritam Niwas Chowk mit seinen vier bemalten Toren für die vier Jahreszeiten. Das Pfauentor ist das, das alle fotografieren, und es verdient es.

Der Govind-Devji-Tempel liegt innerhalb der Palastanlage und ist der wichtigste Tempel Jaipurs.
