Ein halber Tag in Jaipur ist eine echte Wahl statt eines Kompromisses, vorausgesetzt Sie wissen, was er abdeckt. Dieser hier macht die Altstadt-Gruppe und die Straße hinaus zum See, City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal und Jal Mahal, mit Amber Fort bei den längeren Optionen inklusive.

City Palace

Ab 1729 von Jai Singh II im Zentrum seiner neuen Stadt erbaut, und ein Teil davon ist noch immer die Residenz der königlichen Familie, die Flagge über dem Chandra Mahal zeigt an, ob sie anwesend sind.

Das Samrat Yantra ist eine 27 Meter hohe Sonnenuhr, die noch auf etwa zwei Sekunden genau ist, und die Instrumente, die Planetenpositionen verfolgen, funktionieren noch. Hawa Mahal
