Zwei Dinge hier, und die Fahrt ist wirklich die Hälfte davon. Jaipurs Königsfamilien hielten große Flotten von Vorkriegswagen, und einige haben in privater Hand überlebt. In einem davon in der Dämmerung durch die Stadt zu fahren ist etwas anderes als ein Taxi, und es ist der Grund für den Preis.

Chokhi Dhani

Ein nachgebautes rajasthanisches Dorf am Rand von Jaipur, in Betrieb seit 1990. Es ist touristisch und steht ganz offen dazu, und es macht auch wirklich Spaß. Volkstänzer, der Kalbeliya-Schlangentanz, Puppenspiel, Akrobaten, Feuerkünstler, Kamel- und Elefantenritte, Zauberer, Wahrsager, und Mehndi.

Das Abendessen ist ein rajasthanisches Thali, im Sitzen auf dem Boden gegessen, in Stahlschüsseln serviert und nachgefüllt, bis Sie die Bedienung körperlich aufhalten. Dal Baati Churma, Gatte ki Sabzi, Ker Sangri, Bajra-Roti mit Ghee, Churma, und Buttermilch ohne Limit. Wirklich gut und wirklich endlos.
