Un billete en lugar de siete colas

El gobierno de Rajastán vende un pase combinado para los monumentos estatales de Jaipur, y sale claramente mejor que comprarlos de uno en uno, siempre que visite de verdad cuatro o más de los siete. Si solo va a hacer el Fuerte Amber y el Hawa Mahal, cómprelos por separado y ahorre el dinero.

Qué cubre

Fuerte Amber: el conjunto en la colina sobre el lago Maota, comenzado en 1592. La puerta Ganesh Pol, la sala de espejos Sheesh Mahal y el patio del zenana. Calcule dos o tres horas; es con diferencia lo más grande de esta lista.

Hawa Mahal: la celosía de panal de cinco plantas con 953 ventanas. Casi todo el mundo lo fotografía desde la calle; el pase le hace entrar y subir, donde las rampas sustituyen a las escaleras y el cristal de color lanza la luz por el suelo.

Jantar Mantar: declarado por la UNESCO, diecinueve instrumentos astronómicos de obra, entre ellos el Samrat Yantra de 27 metros, todavía exacto hasta unos dos segundos. Merece un guía, o al menos la audioguía, porque sin ellos es un campo de formas.

Museo Albert Hall: el más antiguo de Rajastán, indosarraceno, con la momia egipcia y una colección fuerte de artesanía.

Fuerte Nahargarh: el fuerte de la cresta al noroeste de la ciudad, y la mejor vista de Jaipur al atardecer que existe.

Jardín Sisodia Rani: jardines en terrazas de estilo mogol levantados por Jai Singh II para una reina de Udaipur, pintados con murales de Krishna.

Jardín Vidyadhar: lleva el nombre del arquitecto que planificó la ciudad, y está casi vacío casi todos los días.

Cómo usarlo

Válido dos días consecutivos desde el primer uso. Un reparto sensato: Fuerte Amber y Jaigarh el primer día, los sitios de la ciudad vieja y el Albert Hall el segundo, con Nahargarh al atardecer en cualquiera de los dos.

Tenga en cuenta que el City Palace no entra en este pase: pertenece a la familia real, no al estado, y se paga por separado.
