Atardecer en Galta Ji
El complejo de templos en un desfiladero de los Aravalli al este de la ciudad, con manantiales naturales alimentando una serie de tanques de piedra. Los edificios son de arenisca rosa del siglo 18 construidos en la roca, y los peregrinos se bañan en el Galta Kund en la parte superior desde hace siglos.
El templo de Surya en la cresta de arriba es donde ves ponerse el sol, toda la ciudad extendida abajo, y casi nadie ahí arriba.
Los macacos viven aquí, de ahí el apodo. No sostengas comida en la mano, no asomes el teléfono sobre un muro, y quítate las gafas de sol de la cabeza.

Hawa Mahal iluminado de frente, lo que resalta las 953 ventanas de una manera que la luz del día aplana.
Los muros del City Palace, y el museo Albert Hall, iluminados, reflejados, y rodeados de una cantidad improbable de palomas. Es el edificio más fotografiado de Jaipur de noche y es gratis de ver.
Los bazares de la ciudad vieja en pleno apogeo: tiendas de dulces friendo, callejuelas de pulseras, puestos de chai, y las multitudes de la temporada de bodas de noviembre a febrero.
Y la comida, si quieres, kachori, jalebi, lassi en un kulhad de arcilla, donde tu conductor recomiende.
Lo que no verás
Los interiores de los monumentos. Cierran al atardecer. Este es un tour de la ciudad más que de sus salas, y el precio refleja eso.
Práctico
Unas cuatro horas, con recogida en el hotel programada según el atardecer, que cambia a lo largo del año.
Un tuk-tuk es abierto, y de noviembre a febrero las noches de Jaipur bajan bruscamente tras el anochecer, lleva una chaqueta.
Zapatos fuera en el templo, hombros y rodillas cubiertos. La entrada allí es gratuita o con una donación simbólica.

Sehr viele Eindrücke gewonnen. Der Fahrer ist in Jaipur geboren und aufgewachsen, kann einem also alles über die Stadt erzählen. Er ist auch sicher durch das Chaos des Verlrehrs gefahren, so dass man irgendwann ganz entspannt auf der Rückbank sitzt und die Aussicht genießt.

Imran is honestly such a great driver. Super calm, always knows exactly what he’s doing, and just makes you feel safe the whole time. He’s really good with directions and somehow always finds the best way around traffic. On top of that, he’s really smart and fun to chat with—never a dull moment when he’s around. Just an all-around solid guy to have behind the wheel.

Sohil arrived late - not his fault and he did let us know - but it was worth the wait. We had a lovely evening.... it was great to be out and about in the Jaipur traffic in a tuktuk, it really made you feel connected to the city which is lovely in the night illuminations. Sohil was courteous and obliging, his English is excellent. The ice cream was delicious. We'd unhesitatingly recommend both Sohil and the tuktuk night tour to anyone visiting Jaipur, it was a real blast.
Despite some communication issues at the beginning and the unavailability of of the initial driver, I spent an amazing experience with Sohil. He was very nice, kind patient and shared with me a lot of tips. The tour took much longer than initially planned
I booked the night tuk-tuk tour of Jaipur with Imran. I was able to see the city and buildings lit up at night and got some fabulous photos. Imran shared lots about his city and his sense of humour made it a fun night. I loved visiting the local ice cream parlour! Thanks Imran!
The trip today was great! Sohil was a lovely guide, took us to many other places other than monkey temple, and changed up his tour to make sure we weren’t just seeing things we had already seen as we had already been here 4 days before booking this tour. He was very sweet, and monkey temple is definitely worth going to!

Real Imran was an amazing guide. Listened to what I asked and took me to the right stall to buy something relatively obscure I would never otherwise have found. Knowledgeable about the history and architecture of Jaipur. Friendly, without being overbearing, can't recommend enough. Did an excellent job. Top bloke. Don't hesitate to book. You'll see more and learn more than just getting random Uber/tuktuk. Plus come on, it's as cheap as chips. What's not too like ??!
Very good communication before the tour via WhatsApp. Sohail was really friendly. He asked if there was anywhere that we wanted to go or do. He also gave us loads of suggestions of places to visit. We wanted to have dinner and he took us to a lovely restaurant and waited for us. I would definitely recommend this trip. It was a wonderful experience and great value for money.
