Hawa Mahal

Primera parada, a la hora en que la luz incide directamente. Más de 220 años de antigüedad, cinco plantas, 953 ventanas, y con menos de un metro de profundidad en la mayor parte de su altura, porque es una pantalla más que un palacio. Se construyó en 1799 como extensión del zenana del City Palace para que las mujeres reales pudieran observar las procesiones en la calle sin ser vistas desde la carretera.

Panna Meena ka Kund

Un pozo escalonado del siglo 16 debajo de Amber, con escaleras simétricas entrecruzadas que descienden ocho plantas hasta el agua. Se construyó para que el pueblo pudiera llegar al agua en cualquier estación, y la temperatura en el fondo es varios grados inferior a la de la superficie.
