Jaipur a Agra son unos 240 km y casi todo el mundo lo hace como día de traslado: cinco horas en coche, nada que mostrar. Ranthambore queda aproximadamente entre los dos, así que con una noche convierte ese día perdido en un safari de tigres y aun así llega a Agra.

Ranthambore es una de las reservas de tigres más conocidas de la India, construida alrededor de un fuerte del siglo X con el bosque crecido a su alrededor. Tiene una población real de tigres, y a diferencia de otros parques los animales de aquí están habituados a los vehículos, que es la razón de su tasa de avistamiento.
