Le Rajasthan avec les soirées aussi planifiées

La plupart des itinéraires au Rajasthan se terminent au coucher du soleil. Celui-ci continue : un parcours gourmand à pied dans chaque ville après la nuit tombée, moment où ces lieux sont justement au mieux.

Jaipur

Des journées pour City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal et un arrêt photo au Jal Mahal, puis Fort d'Amber, Nahargarh et Jaigarh le deuxième jour.

Le parcours nocturne est celui que tout le monde devrait faire à Jaipur : kachori et mirchi vada chez Rawat, une boutique qui frit depuis 1956 et qui fait encore la queue jusqu'à la porte à neuf heures du soir. Lal maas si vous mangez de la viande, le curry de mouton rouge enflammé à base de piments mathania, qui paraissent terrifiants mais sont davantage une question de couleur que de piquant. Ghewar et mawa kachori chez LMB à Johari Bazaar pour finir, les deux étant plus sucrés que ce qu'une personne devrait gérer.

Jodhpur

Mehrangarh, qui s'élève à 120 mètres directement de la roche et n'a jamais été pris, avec le meilleur musée du Rajasthan à l'intérieur. Jaswant Thada en marbre blanc en dessous. Les ruelles bleues autour de la tour de l'horloge.

La nourriture ici est différente : mirchi bada, pyaaz kachori chez Janta Sweet Home, makhaniya lassi assez épais pour y faire tenir une cuillère debout, et le mawa kachori que Jodhpur revendique face à Jaipur.

Udaipur

City Palace le long du lac Pichola, le temple Jagdish, Saheliyon ki Bari, et un bateau au coucher du soleil.

Soirées sur les ghats, avec dal baati et cuisines sur toit-terrasse face au palais illuminé.

Comment ça se déroule

Voiture privée climatisée avec chauffeur pour les six jours, y compris les trajets intervilles, Jaipur à Jodhpur fait environ 330 km, Jodhpur à Udaipur encore 250. Guides locaux pour les visites, et un guide gastronomique pour chaque promenade nocturne.
