Le gouvernement du Rajasthan vend un pass combiné pour les monuments d'État de Jaipur, et il est franchement plus avantageux que de les acheter un par un, à condition de visiter réellement quatre des sept ou plus. Si vous ne faites que le fort d'Amber et le Hawa Mahal, achetez-les séparément et gardez votre argent.

Ce qu'il couvre

Le fort d'Amber : le complexe perché au-dessus du lac Maota, commencé en 1592. La porte Ganesh Pol, la chambre aux miroirs Sheesh Mahal, et la cour du zenana. Comptez deux à trois heures ; c'est de loin le plus vaste de cette liste.

Le Hawa Mahal : l'écran en nid d'abeille de cinq étages et ses 953 fenêtres. La plupart des gens le photographient de la rue ; le pass vous fait entrer et monter, là où des rampes remplacent les escaliers et où le verre coloré projette la lumière sur le sol.

Le Jantar Mantar : inscrit à l'UNESCO, dix-neuf instruments astronomiques en maçonnerie dont le Samrat Yantra de 27 mètres, encore précis à environ deux secondes. Mérite un guide, ou au moins l'audioguide, car sans cela c'est un champ de formes.

Le musée Albert Hall : le plus ancien du Rajasthan, indo-sarrasin, avec la momie égyptienne et une solide collection d'artisanat.

Le fort de Nahargarh : le fort de crête au nord-ouest de la ville, et la plus belle vue de Jaipur au coucher du soleil.

Le jardin Sisodia Rani : des jardins en terrasses de style moghol bâtis par Jai Singh II pour une reine d'Udaipur, peints de fresques de Krishna.

Le jardin Vidyadhar : nommé d'après l'architecte qui a tracé la ville elle-même, et presque vide la plupart des jours.

Comment l'utiliser

Valable deux jours consécutifs à partir de la première utilisation. Une répartition sensée : le fort d'Amber et Jaigarh le premier jour, les sites de la vieille ville et l'Albert Hall le second, avec Nahargarh au coucher du soleil l'un ou l'autre jour.

Notez que le City Palace n'est pas sur ce pass : il appartient à la famille royale, pas à l'État, et se paie séparément.
