Hawa Mahal

Premier arrêt, à l'heure où la lumière le frappe directement. Plus de 220 ans, cinq étages, 953 fenêtres, et moins d'un mètre de profondeur sur la plus grande partie de sa hauteur, car c'est un écran plutôt qu'un palais. Il a été construit en 1799 comme extension du zenana du City Palace pour que les femmes royales puissent observer les processions dans la rue sans être vues depuis la route.

La plupart des gens le photographient depuis le trottoir d'en face, exactement l'angle pour lequel il a été conçu.

Panna Meena ka Kund

Un puits à degrés du 16e siècle sous Amber, avec des escaliers symétriques entrecroisés descendant huit étages jusqu'à l'eau. Il a été construit pour que le village puisse atteindre l'eau en toute saison, et la température au fond est de plusieurs degrés inférieure à la surface.
