Tuk-tuk ou voiture, et ici le choix compte vraiment.
La ville fortifiée de Jaipur a été tracée sur une trame en 1727, ce qui est inhabituel en Inde, mais les ruelles de bazar qui en partent sont étroites et en permanence encombrées. Un tuk-tuk y descend et se gare n'importe où. Une voiture est climatisée, ce qui d'avril à septembre n'est pas un détail.
Cette visite vous laisse choisir, et le guide est le même dans les deux cas.
Ce que vous voyez
Le fort d'Amer au-dessus du lac Maota : la chambre aux miroirs Sheesh Mahal, le Ganesh Pol peint, et le Sukh Niwas rafraîchi par l'eau.
Le City Palace, dont la famille royale habite encore une partie, avec les deux vastes urnes d'argent du Diwan-i-Khas.
Le Jantar Mantar, dix-neuf instruments de pierre en état de marche dont un cadran solaire de 27 mètres précis à deux secondes.
Le Hawa Mahal et sa façade de 953 fenêtres, et l'intérieur, que la plupart des visiteurs sautent, pour la vue à travers elles.
Sur l'option de huit heures en tuk-tuk, il y a aussi le temps pour Panna Meena ka Kund, le puits à degrés symétrique en dessous d'Amer, et les ruelles de la vieille ville où travaillent les imprimeurs au tampon et les fabricants de bracelets de laque.

Wow, what a fantastic way to explore Jaipur! Shabbir was an excellent driver and guide, sharing insightful commentary about the city and making thoughtful stops for photo opportunities along the way. He was attentive throughout, offering flexible options at each location and allowing plenty of time to explore at my own pace. I felt really well looked after and never rushed. I booked this tour as a female travelling alone. Shabbir picked me up last minute and was very friendly and warm and explained what our plan would be for the day.
