Deux choses ici, et le trajet en représente vraiment la moitié. Les familles royales de Jaipur entretenaient de grandes flottes de voitures d'avant-guerre, et un certain nombre survivent en mains privées. Traverser la ville dans l'une d'elles au crépuscule n'a rien à voir avec un taxi, et c'est la raison du prix.

Chokhi Dhani

Un village rajasthani reconstitué en bordure de Jaipur, en activité depuis 1990. C'est touristique et cela l'assume entièrement, et c'est aussi vraiment amusant. Danseurs folkloriques, danse kalbeliya des charmeurs de serpents, marionnettes, acrobates, cracheurs de feu, promenades à dos de chameau et d'éléphant, magiciens, diseurs de bonne aventure, et henné.

Le dîner est un thali rajasthani mangé assis par terre, servi dans des bols d'acier et resservi jusqu'à ce que vous les arrêtiez physiquement. Dal baati churma, gatte ki sabzi, ker sangri, roti au bajra avec du ghee, churma, et du babeurre à volonté. Vraiment bon et vraiment sans fin.
