Half a day, ending at the flower market.
The flower market is the part that makes this different. Jaipur's wholesale flower trade runs in the early hours — marigold by the sackful, roses, jasmine, tuberose, all being weighed and bundled for temples and weddings across the city. It is loud, fast and entirely unposed, and almost no tour goes.
The rest of the half day
Depending on the option and where you start: Amer Fort with the Sheesh Mahal and Ganesh Pol, or the walled city cluster of City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal.
Five hours is enough for two proper stops plus the market, rather than four rushed ones.
Options
Three at checkout: half day by tuk-tuk, half day by car, or by car with additional inclusions. The tuk-tuk gets further into the old city lanes; the car is better in the heat.

The flower market runs early. If it matters to you, take the morning slot — by mid-morning the trading is over and it is just a street.

Amer opens at 8 and fills by 10:30, so an early half day covers both the market and the fort well.
Elephant rides are not included and we do not arrange them.
The market is wet underfoot and crowded. Shoes you do not mind.
