Wie der Tag abläuft
Abholung am Hotel in Delhi im Privatwagen. Die Yamuna Expressway braucht etwa drei Stunden pro Richtung.
Am Taj Mahal führt Sie Ihr professioneller Guide vom Zugang durch das Große Tor über die Charbagh-Gärten und die Marmorplattform bis ins Innere des Mausoleums. Erwarten Sie eine ordentliche Erklärung der Pietra-dura-Einlegearbeit, woher Jaspis, Jade, Türkis und Lapis kamen, dazu die Kalligrafie, deren Größe so berechnet ist, dass sie von unten gleichmäßig wirkt, und die Minarette, die mit bewusster Neigung nach außen gebaut wurden.
Danach das Agra Fort, mit dem Diwan-i-Am, dem Jahangir-Palast und dem Musamman Burj, wo Shah Jahan von seinem Sohn festgehalten wurde, mit dem Taj in Sicht jenseits der Yamuna.
