Wie es abläuft
Den Startort wählen Sie. Ab Agra ist das ein halber Tag. Ab Delhi sind es etwa zehn Stunden, mit einem privaten klimatisierten Auto über die Yamuna Expressway hin und zurück. In beiden Fällen begleitet Sie ein staatlich zugelassener einheimischer Guide.
Am Taj führt Sie Ihr Guide über den Zugang durch das Große Tor, die Gärten, das Innere des Mausoleums mit den Kenotaphen und den geschnitzten Gittern und die Flussterrasse. Die Einlegearbeit und die Kalligrafie werden richtig erklärt statt nur gezeigt.
