Ich habe die von GTTI neu angebotene zehntägige Tour von Delhi über Jaipur, Agra und Khajuraho nach Varanasi gebucht, weil ich neben dem klassischen Triangle auch Khajuraho und Varanasi sehen wollte. Hier wurden sie als Gesamtpaket mit einem Fahrzeug angeboten, nicht wie bei anderen Unternehmen, wo man Flug oder Zug zum Teil selbst buchen musste… Die Fahrt mit dem Auto braucht zwar seine Zeit, doch gibt das auch Gelegenheit, mehr von Land und Leuten und Traditionen zu sehen und die Weite und Ausdehnung des Landes zu erleben. Für die Sehenswürdigkeiten der Städte wurden immer Guides gebucht, die auch stets pünktlich vor Ort waren. In den Städten gab es Möglichkeiten, lokales Kunsthandwerk erklärt und vorgeführt zu bekommen. Wer also etwas käuflich erwerben mochte, konnte das gleich hier tun und musste nicht diverse Märkte oder Shops aufsuchen. Ich habe die Option mit Übernachtung im 3 Sterne Hotel gebucht. Die ausgewählten Hotels waren entsprechend. Frühstück war dabei.
