This private car day trip from Delhi to the Taj Mahal was seamless from start to finish. Our driver arrived at 5:30am at our hotel in Connaught Place and we were at the Taj Mahal by 9:30am via the Yamuna Expressway. The car was a clean Toyota Innova with good AC. Our guide in Agra was waiting at the parking lot and the whole Taj Mahal experience was magical. We also visited Agra Fort before heading back. Arrived in Delhi by 8pm. Definately the easiest way to see the Taj.
We only had one day to see the Taj Mahal and this private day trip from Delhi by car worked perfectly. The driver was professional, the car comfortable, and the expressway to Agra is actually quite smooth. At the Taj our guide was excellent, he knew all the history and best photo spots. We had a nice lunch at a restaurant near the Taj with a rooftop view. The drive back took about 3.5 hours. Worth every penny for the convenience of door to door service.
Good same-day trip to the Taj Mahal from Delhi. The private car was comfortable and the driver was experienced. The Taj Mahal itself was stunning, our guide explained the Mughal history really well. We also stopped at a marble workshop where they showed how the inlay work is done, which was interesting but felt a bit like a sales pitch. The drive can be long, about 3-4 hours each way depending on traffic. Still, much better than a crowded bus tour.

No stopping at tourist shops unless we asked. The Taj Mahal was everything we imagined and more. The white marble glowing in the midday sun was incredible. Our guide pointed out the false tomb upstairs and the real burial chamber below. We finished with Agra Fort before driving back. Completley stress free experience.
