Holi wird jedes Jahr im März von allen Indern (einschließlich nicht-hinduistischer Gemeinschaften) gefeiert, an einem jedes Jahr anderen Datum gemäß dem hinduistischen Mondkalender.
Im Jahr 2027 wird Holi am Montag, den 22. März, gefeiert.
Es wird eine wunderbare und immersive Erfahrung für jeden sein, der sich für die indische Kultur und das Holi-Fest interessiert.
Die Teilnahme am Fest mit einer lokalen Familie kann einen einzigartigen und authentischen Einblick in die mit Holi verbundenen Traditionen und Bräuche bieten, das ein großes Fest Indiens ist, voller Spaß, Farben, Musik, Tanz, Speisen und Getränke.
Durch die Buchung dieser Tour können die Gäste am Holi-Fest mit dem Reiseführer und seiner Familie in ihrem Zuhause in Delhi teilnehmen.
Bei der Ankunft erhalten die Gäste eine traditionelle Begrüßung.
Anschließend werden Ihnen Snacks, Süßigkeiten und Getränke als Erfrischung angeboten.
Ihnen wird die Bedeutung und Wichtigkeit des Holi-Fests in Indien durch ein unterhaltsames Quiz erklärt.
Danach gehen Sie (zusammen mit dem Reiseführer und seiner Familie) zu Fuß zum Park in der Wohnanlage, in der sich das Zuhause des Reiseführers befindet, um das Holi-Fest zu genießen. Hier spielen Sie mit farbigem Pulver, Wasserballons und Wasserpistolen im Park. Sie erhalten eine coole Holi-Kopfbedeckung. Gleichzeitig haben Sie die Gelegenheit, zu Bollywood-Liedern zu tanzen.
Nach dem Holi-Spiel können Sie Ihre verschmutzte Kleidung wechseln. Es wird von Ihnen erwartet, einen Satz frischer Kleidung mitzubringen, der nach dem Holi-Spiel getragen werden soll.
Anschließend können Sie ein gemeinschaftliches vegetarisches Mittagessen mit dem Reiseführer und seiner Familie einnehmen.
Es wird ein unvergesslicher Tag Ihres Lebens sein, an dem Sie an einem bedeutenden indischen Fest teilnehmen.
Gegen Ende der Tour erhalten die Gäste ein ganz besonderes Souvenir der indischen Kultur.

It’s was a lot of fun! We got to meet the hosts prior to the Holi event and played a game and had some snacks. Everyone got ready for Holi and we joined the neighborhood in the festivities. There was music & dancing and of course lots of color & water! Afterwards a delicious lunch was served for everybody. It was a wonderful way to spend Holi in Delhi 💛💙💜🩵💚🧡🩷❤️
This was a superb experience. Roopak and family were amazingly organised. They set up a Whatsapp group to share info about Holi, including a quiz. There was a great reception and they brought us together. the loxals werw great. The children in particualr engaged witb us. so much fun. Take a white top you don't want to wear ever again.
It was just an incredible morning in the family home. Offering beautiful food and all the "colour" items you need for a fun and exclusive community Holi gathering. I'd highly recommend it!

Such a joyful time!!! I would highly recommend it!!! A wonderful experience. I am so grateful to have been able to celebrate Holi with a local family and their community. It was such fun! And so well organised. We had delicious snacks and lunch. We were provided with coconut oil for our skin and hair. (So all my colours washed out when I showered). We were supplied with lots of ‘amo’ (coloured foam, water balloons, coloured (non-toxic) powder etc) so we could throw ourselves into the activities. Overhead sprinklers - lots of locals - Bollywood dance music - a really safe, friendly family vibe. There were toilets available at all stages. We were able to change after (no shower, but it was fine without that - I’d recommend using your antibacterial wipes to clean yourself).
One of the most incredible cultural experiences I have ever had. I’m so appreciative to the family for offering this experience and I will forever remember it. Absolutely loved and highly recommend.
What an experience! Exceptional hosts and a great community that were welcoming and open to celebrating a very important festival with strangers. Roopak and Nidhi set a great fun and celebratory tone with a group of virtual strangers - armed us with so much colour and opportunity to play and celebrate with their beautiful community - not to mention the wonderful food to eat. It was a great experience - highly recommended to anyone happy to be drowned in water and colour and ready to play like you are a young person again. Thank you
The experience was really very well curated to give an authentic Holi experience in a controlled environment, that felt safe for my friends visiting from the UK. They especially appreciated all the arrangements and engagement activity organized by the hosts Roopak and Nidhi. Their family welcomed us with warmth and love and it was refreshing to meet people from different nationalities and seeing them all have a bash with colours and water alike. 100% recommend for all international travellers visiting Delhi to participate in Roopak's cultural exchange experiences.
