Great communications with company before the tour started. Collected from our hotel in Delhi to the train station. Shown to our carriage by the guy who drove us.8 hours journey but very comfortable. Clean and food provided. Breakfast, lunch,tea,coffee and water.zMet by our guide Mukesh and driver Mr Wilson. Air conditioned car plenty of space. Dropped at the Taj Amritsar and Mukesh assisted us.Lovely hotel! very pleased. Relaxing for a few hours then collected and driven to the Wagah Border Ceremony. It was brilliant! spectacular. Then a night view of the golden temple. Wonderful place and lost for words.Overnight at the hotel.Lovely evening meal and breakfast. We then went back to the temple with Mukesh who explained everything. Again an amazing experience. Remember ladies you will need a head covering and leggings to wear under your dress even if it's a maxi.Chsps need to shirt trousers and bandana to cover the head.We had lunch then at the yellow chilli and train to Delhi.

I went away feeling like I needed a break. Two train journey's and a couple of days in Amritsar really relaxed me. All was well organised. The taxi driver who collected me at my hotel and off the train was fantastic. Really great service. Also the guide in Amritsar - lots of philosophical conversations. Recommended
