Grob der Ablauf
Delhi für die eigenen Schichten der Hauptstadt: Qutub Minar, Humayun-Mausoleum, Rotes Fort und Jama Masjid, India Gate und die kolonialen Alleen. Dann die Fahrt nach Agra über den Yamuna Expressway.
Agra für den Taj Mahal, idealerweise zum Sonnenaufgang, und das Agra Fort, wo Shah Jahan in Sichtweite davon festgesetzt war. Fatehpur Sikri liegt an der Straße westlich aus Agra heraus und passt deshalb natürlich auf den Weg nach Rajasthan statt als Umweg.
Jaipur für das Amber Fort und den Sheesh Mahal, den City Palace, das Jantar Mantar und den Hawa Mahal, und die Basare, wenn noch Lust da ist. Dann zurück nach Delhi.
