Vier Tage sind der Punkt, an dem das Goldene Dreieck aufhört, Hetze zu sein.

Drei Tage decken die Runde ab. Der vierte kauft Ihnen zwei Dinge, die sonst nie hineinpassen: Sonnenaufgang am Taj, ohne etwas anderes zu streichen, und ein Tigerreservat.

Die Strecke

Delhi für Qutub Minar, Humayun-Mausoleum, Rotes Fort, Jama Masjid und India Gate.

Agra für den Taj Mahal (nehmen Sie den Sonnenaufgang, er ist der Grund für den zusätzlichen Tag) und das Agra Fort, mit Fatehpur Sikri an der Straße nach Westen.

Ranthambore für die Safari. Der Park ist um eine Festung aus dem 10. Jahrhundert herum angelegt, mit trockenem Wald, der darum gewachsen ist, und die im Reservat verstreuten Ruinen geben ihm ein Bild, das es sonst nirgends in Indien gibt. Eine echte Tigerpopulation, dazu Leoparden, Lippenbären, Sambar und Sumpfkrokodile.

Jaipur für das Amer Fort und den Sheesh Mahal, den City Palace, das Jantar Mantar und den Hawa Mahal. Dann zurück nach Delhi.

Ranthambore ist vom 1. Juli bis 30. September geschlossen, wegen des Monsuns. Die Zonen 6 bis 10 bleiben manchmal offen, die Kernzonen nicht.
Safari-Slots werden staatlich zugeteilt, sind begrenzt und in der Saison ausgebucht. Buchen Sie so früh wie möglich, das ist die eigentliche Einschränkung der Reise.
Die Zone weist die Forstbehörde zu. Niemand kann ehrlich eine bestimmte anfordern, und kein Tiger ist garantiert.
Der Taj ist freitags geschlossen, das Rote Fort montags. Vier Tage nehmen beides auf.
Morgensafaris sind für Sichtungen besser und im offenen Canter von Dezember bis Februar richtig kalt.
