Das Goldene Dreieck in drei Tagen ist ein Sprint, und die meisten sagen das hinterher. Fünf Tage decken dieselbe Strecke mit echtem Spielraum ab: Sonnenaufgang am Taj, ohne etwas zu streichen, ein ganzer Tag für Delhi, und ein Nachmittag in Jaipurs Basaren statt eines Sprints zwischen zwei Forts.

Delhi

Der Qutub Minar und die rostfreie Eisensäule. Das Humayun-Mausoleum, der direkte Prototyp des Taj. Alt-Delhi für das Rote Fort, die Jama Masjid und Chandni Chowk. Das India Gate und Lutyens' Alleen.

Agra

Der Taj Mahal bei Sonnenaufgang: mit fünf Tagen gibt es keinen Grund für einen anderen Slot. Das Agra Fort, und Itimad-ud-Daulah, der Baby Taj, den kurze Programme immer streichen. Fatehpur Sikri an der Straße nach Westen.
