Unser Fahrer holt Sie vom Hotel/Flughafen in Delhi/Gurgaon/Noida ab.
Sie werden dann zum Elefanten-Schutz- und Pflegezentrum (Mathura) gefahren. Als Wildlife-SOS-Projekt wurde das „Elefanten-Schutz- und Pflegezentrum" 2010 in Zusammenarbeit mit der Landesregierung geschaffen. Die im Zentrum untergebrachten Elefanten wurden aus grausamen Situationen gerettet, von denen einige ohne jegliche Sicherheit und Pflege zu harter Arbeit unter harten Bedingungen gezwungen wurden.
Erhalten Sie die Chance, die Dickhäuter zu sehen, wie sie ihr Leben unter höchster Fürsorge genießen. Sie können leicht beobachten, wie sich einige der Elefanten frei bewegen und tägliche Spaziergänge im Zentrum genießen, das voller natürlicher Vegetation ist und über ausreichend offene Flächen verfügt, was es ihrem natürlichen Lebensraum sehr nahe bringt. Darüber hinaus ermöglicht das Wasserbecken den Elefanten auch, zu spielen und zu baden.
Anschließend Rückkehr nach Delhi, wo Sie an Ihrem ursprünglichen Abholpunkt abgesetzt werden.

I think a little more clarity in the ad, journey times, time on site. it would allow people to plan physically and mentally. My time at SOS was wonderful, it was enlightening, it was joyful and verge on emotional. If you care for elephants, care for other living being with hearts minds and amazing family values, I defy you to not get a little emotional. My drive Sunil Kumar, was a gent, more over possibly the best driver in the world that I have had the opportunity to be driven by. The man is amazing and the reality is you need to, drive through some of the Indian traffic. I just say his car is dent and scratch free, immaculate inside and out. He takes real pride in his work. overall a long day, but we'll worth it, I'd go again.
The tour was excellent. First of all, I was given a very warm welcome by my driver Ravi. He drove me safely and reliably. When I arrived at the SOS Wildlife Center, I can only say how impressed I am by this important work. The tour and all the stories about the fate of the elephants and bears gave me a deep understanding. Since there are so many tourist traps that pretend to be conservation centers, even though they only exploit and mistreat the elephants, the SOS Wildlife Center is a real asset for everyone who really cares about the animals. Please support the center in its important work and visit it if you are nearby!
If you get this thrown in as a freebie on the way from seeing the Taj Mahal then you might as well. but do not waste your money or time traveling from Delhi to do this the taxi and driver were fine the people at the center also lovely it’s just not worth it at all you see the elephants just like they are in a small zoo you have ZERO interaction with the elephants and honestly it is better than them working as street beggars but it is no better than a zoo at all. I fully support that they have protected these animals and have done great work across india helping countless animals the review is to save people 1 wasting there money and time thinking they will get to meet the elephants and two if you thought they would be in like a big reserve roaming freely
It was amazing
We were picked up by our driver from our hotel. The car was clean and the driver professional. The drive to SOS was trouble free and safe. We were given water and stopped for a food/ comfort break prior to arriving. The SOS conservation guide took us around and gave us a great insight into the elephants welfare. The tour took around 90 minutes. This was a long drive to and from Dehli but worth it. I would recommend this trip. One potential downside was the first driver never appeared due to a vehicle accident. After good communication with the tour company a new driver was sourced quickly with just a short delay.

Being with the elephants and learning about them was great! I enjoyed the informative video we saw at the beginning of the visit of the history of the mistreatment of elephants. Walking through the cemetery of the elephants and seeing that the elephants were honoured was special. Meeting the Veternarian working with the elephants and seeing him take the blood pressure was very cool! However, we travelled three hours from Delhi to get there and we were promised a two hour excursion. Our tour was only 1 hour ten minutes (including the time spent in the gift shop. We would like to have seen more of the elephants and learned more about the treatments. It took us three hours to get home. Long travel day for a quick one hour ten minute visit!

The journey to the sanctuary was awful, the driver was clearly lost and we drove down the highway on the hard shoulder in the direction of oncoming traffic The sanctuary was disappointing and quite frankly upsetting. I come from SA and I am used to seeing all animals in their natural Habitat. At the sanctuary I was expecting to see the elephants roaming freely, being able to bathe in a room not a concrete pod. The guide was mediocre. Quite frankly it was a lot of money for what it was and not in your opinion a true sanctuary for these beautiful animals. Yes the cause is excellent but give the elephants the natural habitat they so deserve.
