Jama Masjid

Chandni Chowk mit dem Tuk-Tuk

Was diese Route ungewöhnlich macht, ist, wie viele Glaubensrichtungen auf wenigen hundert Metern liegen: der Jain-Tempel oben an Chandni Chowk mit seinem Vogelkrankenhaus, wo verletzte Stadtvögel kostenlos behandelt werden; Gauri Shankar, ein über 800 Jahre alter Shiva-Tempel; Sis Ganj Sahib, der Gurudwara, errichtet dort, wo der neunte Sikh-Guru 1675 von Aurangzeb hingerichtet wurde; und die Central Baptist Church von 1814 ein paar Türen weiter.
