Después del Taj Mahal y el fuerte de Agra, se conducen 40 km hacia el oeste hasta Fatehpur Sikri, la capital de arenisca roja que Akbar mandó construir y abandonó en menos de quince años. Es el más tranquilo de los tres y, para mucha gente, el que se recuerda.
El día
La recogida se hace en Delhi, Gurugram o Noida en coche privado climatizado. La Yamuna Expressway lleva unas tres horas, así que salir temprano te sitúa en el Taj antes que los autocares. Pasas unas tres horas en el Taj Mahal, dos en el fuerte de Agra y dos en Fatehpur Sikri, con una hora intermedia en un taller de incrustación de mármol donde ves la técnica del pietra dura hecha a mano. Nadie espera que compres nada. Después, la vuelta, con dejada en tu hotel.

Es un día de doce horas de puerta a puerta. El calzado cómodo importa más que cualquier otra cosa que lleves.
