El tren más rápido de India, y la mejor forma de hacer este día.
El Gatimaan Express cubre Hazrat Nizamuddin a Agra Cantt a hasta 160 km/h, recorriendo la distancia en unos 100 minutos. Por carretera el mismo trayecto son tres horas en un buen día y bastante más cuando Delhi se comporta como Delhi. El tren elimina además lo único que no se puede planificar: el tráfico.
El desayuno se sirve en el servicio de la mañana y va incluido en el billete.
Cómo transcurre el día
Recogida en Delhi para la salida de la mañana. En Agra Cantt, un coche privado climatizado y tu guía esperan el tren, y el coche se queda contigo todo el día. El Taj Mahal con una visita guiada como es debido, el fuerte de Agra, y lo que el día permita. A última hora de la tarde, de vuelta a la estación para el regreso, llegando a Delhi por la noche.
Unas trece horas de puerta a puerta, de las cuales solo unas tres y media son de viaje.

El Taj cierra los viernes, y el Gatimaan tampoco circula ese día, así que ambos encajan bien.
Las plazas del tren van reservadas a tu fecha concreta y son la parte menos flexible del día. Confirma la fecha antes de organizar nada más a su alrededor.
Si no hay plazas en el Gatimaan, el Vande Bharat y el Shatabdi cubren la misma ruta a velocidad parecida, y te lo diremos en lugar de sustituirlo en silencio.
