Roopak and Nidhi are incredible hosts who’ve welcomed 1000 guests from over 80 countries. When my family traveled to India for a wedding, I booked a cooking class with Roopak and mentioned we needed wedding outfits. Instead of directions, they created an unforgettable shopping adventure, teaching us how Indians traditionally prepare for weddings and helping us find everything we needed. I recently was in Delhi again, and spent another wonderful day cooking in their home, learning about Indian customs, Hindu traditions, and enjoying their warm hospitality. Roopak even secured tickets for me to enjoy the Republic Day Parade, an unforgettable experience. They live near the airport, making their experience a perfect start or finish to your trip. Roopak and Nidhi create meaningful, personal cultural experiences, and I highly recommend them to anyone seeking an authentic Indian experience!

I enjoyed cooking with Roopak and Nidhi. They taught me about the common spices and seasonings used in Indian dishes. We prepared a meal, tea, and dessert. Another thing I liked was how open they were in sharing their culture, religion, and everyday life.

We absolutely loved our experience from our initial greeting to the end of the evening. Amazing hosts and beautiful food and cooking experience. I Highly recommended anyone who would love to experience a beautiful truly unique traditional Indian family home.

Last time I was in Delhi, I signed up for a cooking class and a cultural exchange where I would not only have the opportunity learn how to make authentic Indian dishes, they (and I) would be able to ask any questions to each other without judgement. I would also be able to experience the traditional ways of living of an Indian family. Roopak & Nidhi were so gracious and welcoming. I shared the experience with a person touring from Kazakistan and the UK. We learned and laughed together and after cooking, sat around the table and enjoyed our delicious meal of Matar Paneer Masala (Peas & Cheese Curry), Kaddu ki Sabzi (Pumpkin Vegetable) and homemade Rotis (Flat Indian Bread). This was our final evening and meal in India and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Nidhi & Roopak were fantastic hosts! super well organized giving us a very good experience on how their culture is. The food is delicious and healthy at the same time. I recommend it 100%.

I can only recommend everyone to do this when visiting Delhi. It sinply a delight! First off it was incredibly well organised, you get a lot of unformation beforehand. The couple that is hosting the experience is incredibly kind! You get a lot of information about all concerning India and its culture. And the food is incredibly delicious. I will recommend this to everyone I know that will visit India. Thank you so much!

I joined a special Diwali Cultural Activity session this time, and it turned out to be even more enjoyable than I expected! I learned and experienced so much about India and Diwali. The host explained the origins of Diwali in a very clear and engaging way. We made rangoli, painted diyas, joined a prayer, and even got to experience firecrackers and dancing at the end! The chai and food were also delicious. I’d love to come back next time for their regular cooking class. If you’re visiting India, I highly recommend this place to experience real local life beyond sightseeing!

Roopak and Nidhi were excellent hosts. They made us feel welcome, and their explanations of the food preparation was very insightful. The discussions about Hindu life were very well informed and gave us a good understanding of the respect that Hindus have for nature and everything around them. This is a must do tour when you are in Dehli.

It was truly a unique cultural experience. Instead of visiting monuments or exploring old Indian heritage, this 4-hour session was filled with fascinating insights from Roopak and his lovely wife Nidhi. We enjoyed exchanging a wealth of information and observations about India. At the same time, we were cooking delicious Indian dishes, which was great fun! We highly recommend booking such a valuable experience at their home!
