Tres cosas que Delhi hace bien, en un día

Un tratamiento, uno o dos monumentos, y comida, organizados para que el día empiece despacio y vaya en aumento, en lugar del sprint habitual entre fuertes.

El ayurveda

Lo primero, en un centro de bienestar con terapeutas formados. Hay una breve consulta antes de empezar: qué quiere obtener de ello, qué está rígido, qué está estresado, y si tiene afecciones que descartan algo.

El tratamiento estándar es el abhyanga, aceite medicinal tibio aplicado con largos movimientos por los miembros y el torso, normalmente por uno o dos terapeutas trabajando al ritmo. Es más firme que un masaje de spa y se usa considerablemente más aceite. Se supone que debe dejarlo en la piel un rato en lugar de ducharse inmediatamente.

El ayurveda se practica en la India desde hace unos tres mil años, y su lógica es constitucional: el tratamiento y el aceite se eligen para usted en lugar de un menú.

La cultura

La gastronomía
