Rashtrapati Bhavan (paso)
Rashtrapati Bhavan, hogar del presidente de la democracia más grande del mundo, es emblemático de la democracia india y de sus tradiciones seculares, plurales, e inclusivas. Fue diseñado por Sir Edwin Lutyens y Herbert Baker, y se asienta sobre una finca de 330 acres. Se tardaron diecisiete años en construir este palacio presidencial, que se completó en el año 1929. Se utilizaron casi setecientos millones de ladrillos y tres millones de pies cúbicos de piedra para construir esta maravilla arquitectónica, que cuenta con 2,5 kilómetros de pasillos y 190 acres de zona ajardinada. El edificio principal cubre un área de 5 acres y tiene 340 habitaciones distribuidas en cuatro plantas. A veces no se permite detenerse, y tenemos que pasar de largo.

Asif was an excellent guide. I felt safe as a solo female traveller and he showed me all the hidden spots in Delhi. It is clear he has a passion for his country and city, giving me interesting facts about the local history and monuments
We enjoyed our tour with Shamin as guide and Sukhver as driver. We saw all the spots mentioned in the program and Shamir explained the specifics of the different places. I can recommend this tour to get a special view of Delhi at night.
My guide, Asif, was excellent, knowledgeable, and a real pleasure to spend time with. I didn't like the stop at the artisan centre simply because I didn't set out to do shopping so I would have preferred not to have included that.
Our guide Asif took us on a night time tour of the city and we got to see the India gate at night, the Lodi Gardens and the Safdarjang tomb, which as a night tour I would also recommend- it was quiet and beautiful. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history and its links to other similar architecture. We were here on the first of Jan so the traffic was very bad. However he planned things so that we could get the most out of the evening without spending to much time in traffic. Highly recommend a different view of Deli

This was an excellent evening tour which focused on three major sights. Lodi Gardens was visited at twilight, the perfect time to enjoy the floral displays in the cool of the evening and the tombs. The safdarjung tomb is the next stop and is a beautiful building illuminated at night. The final stips were at India Gate and the Palace complex at the opposite end of the long parade. Again very beautiful architecture illuminated colourfully at night. A very informative and enjoyable tour in New Delhi.

This tour was so nice and beautifull, before landing in India we were a bit scared to do a tour at night but our guide Asif made us feel very safe. Really!! recommend to see the highlights of Delhi by evenement. Also, this was actually our first guide in Delhi that didn’t try to scam us. He even gave us tip to prevent it. It was amazing!
