Kumhar Gram se encuentra en el oeste de Delhi, cerca de Uttam Nagar, y es exactamente lo que su nombre sugiere: un pueblo de alfareros dentro de una ciudad de veinte millones de habitantes. Las familias llegaron de Rajastán y Uttar Pradesh hace unos sesenta años, y desde entonces tornean vasijas en las mismas calles.
