Qué cubre el día

Los monumentos, con la historia contada como es debido: el núcleo mogol de la Vieja Delhi y la capital más reciente a su alrededor, según si coges el medio día o el día completo.

Un paseo en rickshaw por la Vieja Delhi, la única forma sensata de atravesar callejones que Shah Jahan trazó en la década de 1640 y que no se han ensanchado desde entonces.

Y la artesanía: estampación con bloques, bordado, zardozi y trabajo textil, vistos donde se hacen. La economía artesanal de Delhi se sostiene en buena parte sobre el trabajo de mujeres y casi ninguna cadena de venta te lo muestra.
