Taj Mahal

I booked the sunrise tour from Dehli for the Taj Mahal. The driver was late due to last minute hotel changes which the tour operator kindly allowed us to change. When arriving at the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort it was raining but our tour guide was very knowledgeable taking us round. He made our lives stress free by handling the skip the queue tickets at Taj Mahal and assisting us with Agra Fort tickets. We then went to local shops showing the hand crafted techniques. Last was the elephant rescue centre which educated us the need for rescuing and discouraged petting/riding them. It required 2000 INR donation pp and was a heart warming experience. Overall our friendly tour guide appeared a bit rushed but gave us plenty of insight into the history of both the landmarks. Our driver provided us with refreshments and was accommodating despite the language barrier. The organiser was flexible and easy to get in touch with regarding questions/updates. Would recommend.

We had a realy great time with Imran and Pankash. They showed us around Agra and Taj Mahal. Imran was ver knowledgeable about Taj Mahal and gave us lot of interesting information. Definitely recommend!

Review: Sunrise Tour to Agra We took a sunrise tour from Delhi to Agra to visit the Taj Mahal and other landmarks. The driver picked us up at 2 am, ensuring a smooth and relaxing ride. Unfortunately, it was too foggy to see the sunrise, but we still enjoyed seeing the Taj Mahal in the mist, as well as visiting the Red Fort and two local handcraft shops. After lunch, we visited the Elephant SOS, where we paid a 2000 INR donation, which was absolutely worth it. Their work in rescuing and caring for elephants is incredible, and it was heartwarming to see the rescued elephants in such great condition. The driver was exceptional—he looked after us throughout the trip, providing local Indian sweets and refreshments, making the journey stress-free. The guide was knowledgeable and showed us all the best spots, though he occasionally seemed a bit rushed. Despite this, he explained everything in detail and made the experience enjoyable. We would happily do this trip again.

O passeio em si foi bem interessante. O problema é que é muito longe para ir e voltar no mesmo dia, o que torna cansativo. O tour todo é bem longo, ou seja, é necessário sair hiper cedo, ou vc pode perder um dos passeios. No nosso caso, não conseguimos ir no forte vermelho.

Our one day to Agra and SOS Wildlife was an eventful day. I'd sum up the tour in 3 parts: The driver - was late to pick us up from the airport but managed to compensate when we had to find an alternative hotel (as the one booked didn't exist!) SOS Wildlife - a great project with great people behind it. Quite incredible to see and an eyeopener about abusive treatment elephants still have Agra Tour/Taj Mahal - definitely the lowest point of the day. We had a rush job by the guide (w were less than 60 minutes in the complex) and even had comments like "the mausoleum doesn't have much to see, you don't need to see it" (still we insisted on do so) and noticed that the guide was mostly interested in other things than to show us the place and share its history. Adding insult to injury was the motive behind such a hurry, he took us to a rug shop where he got a commission of the items sold to tourists. This is particularly serious as he' the tour organizer...Also remember that he was quite push
