La plupart des excursions d'une journée au départ de Delhi voient le Taj et font demi-tour. Celle-ci continue. Après le Taj Mahal et le fort d'Agra, vous roulez 40 km vers l'ouest jusqu'à Fatehpur Sikri, la capitale de grès rouge qu'Akbar a fait bâtir puis abandonnée en moins de quinze ans. C'est le plus calme des trois et, pour beaucoup, celui dont on se souvient.
La journée
La prise en charge se fait à Delhi, Gurugram ou Noida en voiture climatisée privée. La Yamuna Expressway prend environ trois heures : un départ matinal vous amène au Taj avant les autocars. Vous passez à peu près trois heures au Taj Mahal, deux au fort d'Agra et deux à Fatehpur Sikri, avec une heure entre-temps dans un atelier d'incrustation de marbre où vous voyez la technique du pietra dura exécutée à la main. Personne n'attend de vous que vous achetiez quoi que ce soit. Puis le retour, avec dépose à votre hôtel.
Votre guide est agréé par le gouvernement et reste avec vous sur les trois sites.
Compris et en option
La voiture, le chauffeur, le guide, l'eau en bouteille et tous les péages et stationnements sont dans le prix de base. Les billets des monuments et le déjeuner cinq étoiles sont des options distinctes au moment de la réservation, donc le prix affiché correspond à ce que vous prenez vraiment.

Le Taj est fermé le vendredi. Tous les autres jours conviennent.
