Conçue pour une longue escale

Si vous avez dix heures entre deux vols à l'aéroport de Delhi, voilà quoi en faire. Prise en charge au terminal, l'autoroute jusqu'à Agra, le Taj et le fort, et retour aux départs.

C'est serré et ça fonctionne, et il y a deux choses à dire honnêtement avant de réserver.

L'arithmétique

De l'aéroport de Delhi à Agra, c'est trois à trois heures et demie dans chaque sens en bonnes conditions. Cela laisse environ trois heures sur place, suffisantes pour voir le Taj correctement et le fort d'Agra rapidement.

Il vous faut un minimum de dix heures entre l'atterrissage et votre prochain enregistrement, et douze heures sont confortables. En dessous, ne tentez pas l'expérience.

Il faut aussi pouvoir sortir de l'aéroport, ce qui suppose de passer l'immigration, donc un visa indien, pas seulement un tampon de transit. Vérifiez cela avant de réserver quoi que ce soit.

Bagages

Utilisez la consigne de l'aéroport plutôt que d'emporter vos bagages à Agra, et comptez le temps que cela prend.

Taj Mahal

Shah Jahan l'a commencé en 1632, l'année suivant la mort de Mumtaz Mahal en donnant naissance à leur quatorzième enfant. Vingt-deux ans, vingt mille ouvriers, du marbre acheminé sur 400 km depuis Makrana.

The transfer from airport to the car was excellent with good communication with Rahul our driver. It was smooth sailing after that and we even stopped for delicious Tandoori Chai tea. Faijan our guide was also very informative and took great photos of our group. We truly got to see so much of Agra in a short amount of time. Lunch was great also! Highly recommend for anyone looking to make the most of their layover time.

Faizan was an excellent guide around the Taj Mahal, and Rahul was a fabulous driver taking me from door to door in air conditioned comfort. Incredible value service, looked after from the moment I was picked up at the airport to being dropped off 12 hours later. Lunch was delicious and the tour was very pleasant and informative. Highly recommended!

Had a really good time learning about the history of the Taj Mahal, the guide, Salim, was super informative and detailed. Made the experience 10times better! He even took photos of me as I was by myself!! Really lovely guy!!

Javed Khan was my tour guide. He was absolutely knowledgeable and awesome, he was truly helpful from the beginning and knows the right spots to go for pictures. I recommend taking your tour with him as he will explain and immerse you into the history and culture of the Taj Mahal in depth. Had an amazing time! Two thumbs up for him!!! 👍👍

The tour was the best thing we could’ve done with our layover time here in India. We got picked up and brought back directly from the airport. Then we visited a lot of famous monuments and our tourguide Akil told us all about the history of the monuments. He was really nice and funny. We were really relieved that we had such a nice guide with us, otherwise we probably would’ve been a bit overwhelmed by all the new impressions. So overall we can only recommend the tour if you want to get the best out of you layover time.
