Delhi-Agra en train rapide prend bien moins de deux heures. Par la route, c'est trois heures un bon jour, et nettement plus quand le trafic de Delhi en décide autrement. Sur une excursion d'une journée, c'est la différence entre arriver frais et arriver courbaturé.

Prise en charge à l'hôtel ou à l'aéroport de Delhi pour le train du matin. À Agra, une voiture privée climatisée et votre guide vous attendent, et la voiture reste avec vous toute la journée.
Le Taj Mahal en visite guidée complète : l'approche par la Grande Porte, les jardins et le bassin, la plate-forme de marbre et l'intérieur du mausolée. Puis le fort d'Agra, où le Diwan-i-Am, le palais de Jahangir et le Musamman Burj s'enchaînent sur un même parcours, et où la vue sur la Yamuna donne à l'histoire de Shah Jahan sa fin.
En fin d'après-midi, retour à la gare, et une voiture qui attend à Delhi.
