Déroulé de la journée
Voiture privée climatisée par la Yamuna Expressway, environ trois heures.
Le Taj Mahal avec un guide : l'approche par la Grande Porte où le dôme apparaît encadré dans l'arche, les jardins charbagh, la plate-forme de marbre, et l'intérieur du mausolée avec ses cénotaphes et ses écrans ajourés. La marqueterie pietra dura est vraiment expliquée : des pierres semi-précieuses taillées et serties à la main dans le marbre, avec des matériaux venus de toute l'Asie.
Le fort d'Agra ensuite, où le Musamman Burj regarde par-dessus la Yamuna le tombeau que Shah Jahan avait fait bâtir et à la vue duquel il fut plus tard enfermé.
Un repas cinq étoiles entre les deux, puis la route du retour. Environ onze heures.
