Le Taj à l'ouverture et le Taj à onze heures sont deux bâtiments différents. Aux premières lueurs, le site accueille quelques centaines de personnes plutôt que plusieurs milliers, le marbre est assez frais pour y marcher pieds nus, et la pierre passe du gris au rose puis au blanc quand le soleil franchit l'horizon derrière le dôme.
Le prix à payer, c'est le réveil. Vous quittez Delhi au petit matin pour faire les trois heures de la Yamuna Expressway et être à la porte avant l'ouverture. La voiture est un endroit confortable pour dormir au retour.
Déroulé de la journée
Prise en charge à l'hôtel ou à l'aéroport de Delhi. Véhicule privé climatisé pour tout le trajet. Vous arrivez avant l'aube et entrez avec le premier groupe.
Votre guide vous emmène de l'approche par la Grande Porte aux jardins et au bassin, à la plate-forme de marbre et à l'intérieur du mausolée, à un rythme dicté par la lumière plutôt que par un horaire. Il reste du temps pour le fort d'Agra ensuite selon l'option, puis la route du retour. Environ douze heures en tout.

Le Taj est fermé tous les vendredis.
Le lever du soleil se déplace au fil de l'année, d'environ 6h45 fin décembre à 5h15 en juin, donc la prise en charge suit la saison. Nous confirmons la vôtre à la réservation.
De novembre à février, la brume du fleuve peut masquer le dôme pendant la première heure avant de se lever. Cela donne des photos remarquables tant que cela dure, mais si un lever de soleil dégagé compte pour vous, évitez fin décembre et janvier.
Prenez une couche supplémentaire. Agra avant l'aube en hiver est vraiment froide, quoi que fasse l'après-midi.
