This day trip from Delhi combining the Taj Mahal with Mathura and Vrindavan was absolutley incredible. Left Delhi early and arrived at the Taj for a perfect morning visit. After lunch we drove to Vrindavan where the Krishna temples were so colourful and alive with devotees singing and chanting. The Banke Bihari Temple had such an intense spiritual energy. In Mathura we walked along the ghats of the Yamuna river. Our private car and guide made the long day very comfortable.

Interesting combination of the Taj Mahal with the spiritual towns of Mathura and Vrindavan. The Taj was magnificent obviously. Vrindavan was a completely different vibe, very spiritual and authentic. We visited several Krishna temples including the massive ISKCON temple which is very modern compared to the older ones. Mathura's Krishna Janmabhoomi was fascinating. Its a very full day though, about 14 hours door to door from Delhi, so be prepared for that.

One of the best tours we booked in India. Starting with the Taj Mahal was perfect, then heading to Vrindavan and Mathura added such a different dimension to the day. Our guide explained the significance of Krishna in Hindu culture and how Vrindavan is considered one of the holiest places in India. The narrow streets filled with sadhus and pilgrims felt like stepping back in time. The private car from Delhi was comfortable and the driver was great on the highway.

Fantastic private day trip from Delhi. The Taj Mahal was the obvious highlight but honestly the Vrindavan temples were equally memorable. We visited Prem Mandir which is this massive white marble temple that gets lit up beautifully. In Mathura the Dwarkadhish Temple was packed with worshippers and the atmosphere was electric. The guide was knowledgable about both Mughal and Hindu history which made the contrasts between the sites even more interesting.
