Holi est célébrée au mois de mars chaque année par tous les Indiens (y compris les communautés non hindoues) à une date différente chaque année selon le calendrier lunaire hindou.
En 2027, Holi sera célébrée le lundi 22 mars.
Ce sera une expérience merveilleuse et immersive pour toute personne intéressée par la culture indienne et la fête de Holi.
Participer à la fête avec une famille locale peut offrir un aperçu unique et authentique des traditions et coutumes associées à Holi, qui est une fête majeure de l'Inde, pleine de plaisir, de couleurs, de musique, de danse, de mets et de boissons.
En réservant ce circuit, les invités peuvent participer à la fête de Holi avec le guide et sa famille, chez eux à Delhi.
À leur arrivée, les invités recevront un accueil traditionnel.
Puis, des en-cas, des douceurs et des boissons vous seront proposés en rafraîchissement.
L'importance et la signification de la fête de Holi en Inde vous seront expliquées à travers un quiz ludique.
Ensuite, vous (ainsi que le guide et sa famille) marcherez jusqu'au parc de la résidence où se trouve la maison du guide pour profiter de la fête de Holi. Là, vous jouerez avec de la poudre colorée, des ballons d'eau et des pistolets à eau dans le parc. Une coiffe festive de Holi vous sera fournie. En même temps, vous aurez l'occasion de danser sur des chansons de Bollywood.
Après avoir joué à Holi, vous pourrez changer vos vêtements tachés. Il vous est demandé d'apporter un ensemble de vêtements propres à porter après avoir joué à Holi.
Ensuite, vous pourrez prendre un déjeuner végétarien communautaire avec le guide et sa famille.
Ce sera une journée inoubliable de votre vie où vous participerez à une fête indienne majeure.
Vers la fin du circuit, les invités recevront un souvenir très spécial de la culture indienne.

It’s was a lot of fun! We got to meet the hosts prior to the Holi event and played a game and had some snacks. Everyone got ready for Holi and we joined the neighborhood in the festivities. There was music & dancing and of course lots of color & water! Afterwards a delicious lunch was served for everybody. It was a wonderful way to spend Holi in Delhi 💛💙💜🩵💚🧡🩷❤️
This was a superb experience. Roopak and family were amazingly organised. They set up a Whatsapp group to share info about Holi, including a quiz. There was a great reception and they brought us together. the loxals werw great. The children in particualr engaged witb us. so much fun. Take a white top you don't want to wear ever again.
It was just an incredible morning in the family home. Offering beautiful food and all the "colour" items you need for a fun and exclusive community Holi gathering. I'd highly recommend it!

Such a joyful time!!! I would highly recommend it!!! A wonderful experience. I am so grateful to have been able to celebrate Holi with a local family and their community. It was such fun! And so well organised. We had delicious snacks and lunch. We were provided with coconut oil for our skin and hair. (So all my colours washed out when I showered). We were supplied with lots of ‘amo’ (coloured foam, water balloons, coloured (non-toxic) powder etc) so we could throw ourselves into the activities. Overhead sprinklers - lots of locals - Bollywood dance music - a really safe, friendly family vibe. There were toilets available at all stages. We were able to change after (no shower, but it was fine without that - I’d recommend using your antibacterial wipes to clean yourself).
One of the most incredible cultural experiences I have ever had. I’m so appreciative to the family for offering this experience and I will forever remember it. Absolutely loved and highly recommend.
What an experience! Exceptional hosts and a great community that were welcoming and open to celebrating a very important festival with strangers. Roopak and Nidhi set a great fun and celebratory tone with a group of virtual strangers - armed us with so much colour and opportunity to play and celebrate with their beautiful community - not to mention the wonderful food to eat. It was a great experience - highly recommended to anyone happy to be drowned in water and colour and ready to play like you are a young person again. Thank you
The experience was really very well curated to give an authentic Holi experience in a controlled environment, that felt safe for my friends visiting from the UK. They especially appreciated all the arrangements and engagement activity organized by the hosts Roopak and Nidhi. Their family welcomed us with warmth and love and it was refreshing to meet people from different nationalities and seeing them all have a bash with colours and water alike. 100% recommend for all international travellers visiting Delhi to participate in Roopak's cultural exchange experiences. I assure you won't be disappointed.
