Le Triangle d'or avec un fort où dormir

La différence entre ceci et tout autre triangle de six jours est la dernière étape. Le fort-palais de Neemrana fut construit en 1464 sur une colline du district d'Alwar et restauré sur des décennies en un hôtel occupant douze niveaux taillés dans la roche. Y séjourner est vraiment différent de photographier des forts toute la semaine.

Delhi

La Jama Masjid, le trajet en cyclo-pousse dans Chandni Chowk, India Gate, le tombeau de Humayun, le tombeau-jardin moghol des années 1560 dont le Taj descend, et Qutub Minar.

Agra

Le Taj Mahal au lever du soleil, quand le marbre passe du gris au rose puis au blanc et que la foule est mince. Puis le fort d'Agra, et le Musamman Burj où Aurangzeb a emprisonné son père huit ans, le Taj à portée de vue le long du fleuve.

Fatehpur Sikri sur la route vers l'ouest : la capitale d'Akbar de 1571, abandonnée après quatorze ans quand l'eau a manqué, raison pour laquelle elle reste intacte.

Jaipur

Le fort d'Amber sur sa crête, le City Palace, le Jantar Mantar et le Hawa Mahal, plus du temps dans les bazars autour de Johari et Tripolia.

Neemrana

Sur l'autoroute Delhi-Jaipur, à environ deux heures de l'une ou de l'autre. Le fort descend la colline en douze niveaux de cours, jardins suspendus et pavillons ouverts, et les vues s'étendent sur la plaine depuis chaque terrasse.

Il y a un puits à degrés dans le village en dessous, la Baoli de Neemrana, neuf étages et largement vide de visiteurs, et la propriété exploite l'un des plus longs circuits de tyrolienne d'Inde au-dessus du ravin près du fort, si cela vous tente.

Mais surtout, c'est un endroit où rester tranquille la dernière nuit d'une semaine chargée.
