Ce que vous apprendrez

Le bhangra, du Pendjab : mouvement des épaules, bras levés, et bien plus aérobique qu'il ne paraît. Il a commencé comme une danse des récoltes, et l'énergie compte plus que la précision.

Le garba, du Gujarat : circulaire, exécuté en cercle, avec les applaudissements et les tours qui accélèrent le tempo. Pendant Navratri, des villes entières le font neuf nuits de suite.

Et la chorégraphie de film, ce que l'on entend réellement par danse Bollywood, un hybride de formes classiques indiennes, de folklore, de jazz et de hip-hop qui change tous les quelques années et reste instantanément reconnaissable.
