La ville illuminée, et suffisamment fraîche pour en profiter

Delhi le soir est une toute autre proposition : la température baisse, la circulation se raréfie, et les monuments sont illuminés. D'avril à septembre, c'est le seul moment confortable pour être en extérieur, et même en hiver c'est la meilleure moitié de la journée.

India Gate

L'arc de 42 mètres sur Rajpath, gravé des noms de plus de 13 000 soldats, illuminé par le bas avec les pelouses pleines de familles et de charrettes de glaces. C'est là que Delhi passe réellement ses soirées.

La flamme de l'Amar Jawan Jyoti a été déplacée vers le mémorial national de guerre voisin en 2022, et ce mémorial vaut les dix minutes supplémentaires.

Rashtrapati Bhavan et Rajpath

Tout l'axe de Lutyens illuminé, la résidence présidentielle au sommet, les bâtiments du secrétariat de chaque côté, et le boulevard cérémoniel descendant jusqu'à India Gate.

Le tombeau de Humayun et Qutub Minar

Tous deux illuminés depuis l'extérieur. Le complexe de Qutub se lit particulièrement mieux illuminé qu'à midi, car la lumière fait ressortir la profondeur des bandes d'inscription sur le minaret.

Akshardham

Sur certaines options, pour le spectacle d'eau et de lumière du soir sur le puits à degrés. Lisez d'abord ceci : aucun téléphone, appareil photo, sac ni électronique n'est autorisé à l'intérieur, la sécurité est de niveau aéroport, et le complexe est fermé le lundi.

Bangla Sahib
