Roopak and Nidhi were so impressive. The depth of knowledge they shared with us regarding Indian cooking, history, and culture was so awe inspiring. We felt so welcomed inside their home and so fortunate to be sharing the experience they created for us. We cannot recommend this experience enough. It was such a pleasure to be their guests!

This tour is hosted by the kindest couple. They had a set menu and taught us how to make a traditional breakfast, masala chai and pudding. They taught us about Hinduism as we had a lot of questions and were given very thoughtful souvenirs.

Nidhi and Roopak were absolute perfection as hosts! 😊 Their warm hospitality and generosity in sharing their home and culture with you is a testament to the rich traditions of Indian family values. The cooking class was a highlight, and it's amazing how they involved you in the process, making it a hands-on learning experience. Amazing and intimate family experience. Roopak, Nidhi and their family made us feeling at home. It was not just a cooking class. It was an intimate gathering while learning more about the country, culture and the daily life. Nidhi and Roopak hosted us along with three others at their home with such warmth and hospitality. We learnt so much about Indian culture, religion and food. They had fantastic communication from booking through out our experience and afterwards sending us resources on everything we’d learnt and experienced. Would HIGHLY recommend this to everyone. A truly perfect experience with Roopak and Nidhi in their beautiful home in Delhi. Communication via WhatsApp was fantastic as soon as I booked on Get Your Guide as they gave very clear instructions on how to arrive at their home and what the activities would be. As soon as I stepped into their home I was given a wonderful Hindu welcome and sat down to have a lovely introductory chat. Roopak and Nidhi are so wonderful to get along with! Oh I haven’t talked about the cooking part yet! We made roti, dal and an okra dish all from scratch as well as a sweet dessert and masala chai. It was such a comfortable and stress-free cooking experience, just like cooking in your own home! This is truly much more than a commercial cooking class, this is quality time getting to know a local Indian couple who have so much to share and who are interested in getting to know you too.
