Trois jours, trois villes, aucun après-midi perdu

C'est le Triangle d'or compact : une nuit à Agra, une à Jaipur, et les trajets organisés pour que chaque journée se termine là où la suivante commence.

Jour un : Delhi et la route vers Agra

Visite de Delhi le matin, Qutub Minar, le tombeau de Humayun, India Gate, puis la Yamuna Expressway vers le sud, environ trois heures et demie.

Si la lumière le permet encore, Mehtab Bagh sur l'autre rive pour la vue en reflet du Taj avant le coucher du soleil.

Jour deux : Agra à Jaipur

Le Taj Mahal au lever du soleil, quand les portes ouvrent une demi-heure avant le soleil et que la foule n'est qu'un cinquième de ce qu'elle devient. Votre guide vous montrera la calligraphie taillée en plus grand à mesure qu'elle s'élève pour se lire uniformément depuis le sol, les fleurs de pietra dura composées de dizaines de pierres incrustées, les minarets inclinés vers l'extérieur pour tomber loin du tombeau en cas de tremblement de terre, et l'unique asymétrie volontaire du bâtiment.

Puis le fort d'Agra, le grès rouge d'Akbar de 1565 avec les palais de marbre de Shah Jahan à l'intérieur, et le Musamman Burj où il est mort prisonnier de son propre fils.

Fatehpur Sikri sur le trajet vers Jaipur : le Buland Darwaza, le Panch Mahal, et le dargah de marbre de Salim Chishti où l'on noue encore des fils aux grilles.

Jour trois : Jaipur

Le fort d'Amber tôt, avant les autocars. Puis le Jal Mahal depuis la digue, le City Palace, le Jantar Mantar et le Hawa Mahal, et retour à Delhi en soirée.
