Avis des voyageurs
Overall I enjoyed my day. I feel that Delhi to Ranthambore in one day is too far. 5 hours journey and then a two hour wait for the safari and then another 5 hours return is too ambitious. This is not a reflection on my excellent driver Shyam who was professional and accommodating. He was a very good driver with great communication skills. My safari guide was also very good and knowledgeable. We were in zone 6. I was told zone 2/3 and I was surprised by the change? I was in a canter, prepared for the sun with a hat! Water etc the countryside is stunning. Mountains and winding trails through forest and plains. The best time to see tigers is early morning. I was hopeful and I was so excited to see a tiger, sadly none appeared. However, I am a lover of all things natural and I was happy to see many species of birds and deer, turtle and reptiles, wild boar and a fabulous black bear. There was a young child on our safari who was unhappy, maybe not a trip for a baby. Remember if you choose ,
