Un bateau à rames le long des ghats dès la première lumière, quand toute la façade du fleuve se tourne vers le soleil levant : des milliers de personnes se baignant, lavant leur linge, priant, pratiquant le yoga sur les marches, des prêtres sous des parasols en feuilles de palmier, des buffles debout dans les eaux peu profondes.

La Ganga Aarti
