Die Slum-Tour durch die Sanjay Colony in Neu-Delhi war für uns eine sehr besondere und beeindruckende Erfahrung. Abseits der klassischen Sehenswürdigkeiten konnten wir einen authentischen Einblick in den Alltag der Menschen bekommen und eine Seite Delhis kennenlernen, die man als Tourist sonst kaum zu sehen bekommt. Besonders positiv fanden wir die offene und respektvolle Art unseres Guides. Er hat uns viele interessante Hintergründe zum Leben, Arbeiten und Zusammenleben in der Colony vermittelt und dabei immer darauf geachtet, den Menschen mit Respekt zu begegnen. Die Tour hat uns zum Nachdenken gebracht, aber gleichzeitig auch gezeigt, wie viel Zusammenhalt, Lebensfreude und Tatkraft dort vorhanden sind. Leider durften wir nur in der Schule Fotos machen und nicht in den Straßenschluchten etc. - wobei wir das aus Respekt ggü. den Bewohnern verstehen können. Aufgrund des Verkehrschaos waren wir sehr verspätet am Treffpunkt, aber der Guide hat freundlicherweise auf uns gewartet.thx

Wir haben während der Tour mehr als wir erwarten haben, bekommen: sehr viel Wissen, stets eine fundierte Antwort auf unsere Fragen, eine tolle und interessante Tour, einen leckeren Tee und das Wissen um das wunderbare Bildungsprojekt. Es war Salman, ein Volontär, der mit sehr viel Herz und Freude uns Touristen in seiner Freizeit vom Leben und Überleben in der Sunjay Colony erzählte. Er und viele andere junge Menschen stemmen hier eine wichtige Aufgabe und kümmern sich hier mit viel Herz und Verstand um eine bessere Bildung der hier lebenden Kinder und Jugendlichen, während Pradeep all das koordiniert und dafür gesorgt hatte, dass wir nach unserer Tour mit einem TukTuk sicher nach Hause gebracht wurden. Danke Euch Dehlu by Locals!!!!
