De Jaipur à Agra, il y a 240 km. Pour être au Taj Mahal à l'ouverture des portes, vous partez au milieu de la nuit, et la route vers l'est passe par Abhaneri et Fatehpur Sikri, ce qui fait que le trajet lui-même devient le voyage plutôt qu'un temps mort.

Chand Baori, Abhaneri

3 500 marches en parfaites doubles volées descendant sur treize étages jusqu'à un carré d'eau verte, taillé au IXe siècle par le roi Chanda pour qu'un village puisse accéder à l'eau pendant un été désertique.

La base est cinq ou six degrés plus fraîche que la surface, ce qui était autant l'objectif que l'eau elle-même. La géométrie se photographie comme une illusion d'optique et vous l'avez probablement vue dans des films.

Lever du soleil au Taj

Fantastic tour arranged by Maliq, drive from Jaipur at 2am was worth reaching the Taj Mahal for sunrise. the guide was very knowledgeable and made the tour engaging. Was nice to split the journey back with a stop at Fatehpur Sikri and a tour from Shakir a local to the area. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone!
